Later, on several occasions, the heroes meet the doctor in his Egg Drillster Mk. Eventually, they find and defeat a Tunnelbot, one of Robotnik's Badniks. Robotnik from re-activating his Death Egg, the heroes make their way through the Zone. Sonic and Tails eventually arrive in Marble Garden Zone after being shot there by a geyser in Hydrocity Zone. Some ruins covered in large amounts of vegetation also appear. The background features orange mountains under a blue, clean sky. This Zone in particular is notable for housing the ruins of an ancient civiization spoken of in legends. ![]() Marble Zone is based on the Zone of the same name from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.Marble Garden Zone is an area located somewhere on the Floating Island. ![]() Escaping Rava, Tails flew into a temple in the region and used his Ring to create a portal to Spring Yard Zone. While looking for Sonic, Tails used a Ring to travel to Marble Zone, where he encountered its territorial ruler, Rava the Destroyer. History Comics Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Official Movie Pre-Quill The apparent proclaimed ruler of this zone is Rava the Destroyer. There are also ruined temples made of light purple bricks with various traps inside these ruins, such as spikes on the floor and lava pools. It also contains traces of complex Roman/Greek-style architecture, such as many light gray marble pillars, which appear to be very old as they are tilted, broken, and/or have scratches on them. The local terrain is similarly rather unstable and collapses in some places.
